Meet Fernanda and her Mom
Fernanda is one of over 375 students to graduate from the Union Bank Student-run Branch program, an initiative in Title 1 schools that gives students work experience and financial education while serving as a working bank branch in the community.
After her mother suffered a debilitating injury, it was Fernanda’s mentor in the program who convinced her to pursue her dreams of going to college. Now, she’s one of over 35 program alumni working for Union Bank.
When we first met Pam Isom over 20 years ago, she had big dreams of starting her own company. Through our Diversity Lending Program, she was able to make those dreams come true. But investing in Pam’s business wasn’t enough. Union Bank also invested in Pam—helping grow her business to what it is today.
As one of the few banks in the country to have a special purpose credit program under the Equal Credit Opportunities Act, Union Bank works diligently to empower women, minority, and veteran owned businesses with the credit and financing needed to grow and thrive.
Meet Henry and Vanessa
Starting their life together meant buying their own home. From their first appointment to the day they got the keys, Union Bank was there to make their dreams come true.
