Union Bank® has Japanese language materials available as a courtesy to you. Amendments to account disclosure documents may only be available in English only. Customers should gain an understanding of all agreements and terms and conditions given in English or Japanese before using the bank’s products and services. If there are discrepancies or inconsistencies between the Japanese and English versions, the English version shall be controlling unless there is a separate written agreement or there are different interpretations of the governing law applicable to the account. In addition, customers should be aware that if they open other types of accounts at the bank, there may be only English versions of account disclosure items and agreements.
