Samsung Pay uses a unique, transaction-specific code for all purchases. This means that your debit card data is not stored on Samsung servers or on your Samsung device, and retailers never see your card numbers. To learn more about Samsung Pay security and privacy, click here.
Samsung Pay works on Galaxy phones S6 or higher, Galaxy Note5 or higher, and Gear S2 with NFC or higher. For a list of supported Samsung devices that can support Samsung Pay, please visit Samsung Pay Support.
Samsung Pay works almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card. Samsung Pay does not currently work at gas station pumps where you have to insert your card, but it will work at most gas station cashier card readers.
