About Escondido

The Union Bank Escondido branch, located in the heart of downtown Escondido, is proud to serve the nearby cities of San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo, Ramona, Valley Center, and surrounding North County Inland areas. We are located on the corner of Grand Avenue and Escondido Boulevard, less than a 1/4 mile from the Escondido Performing Arts Center. We are centrally located off of Interstate 15 between Center City Parkway and Valley Parkway, 30 miles from downtown San Diego. Limited parking is available on the street near our Grand Avenue entrance, and two large parking lots are available on Second Avenue. Every Friday night from April though September, the city hosts the popular "Cruisin' Grand," where the public can show and view hot rods and historic cars. The city of Escondido was founded in 1888, making it one of the oldest cities in San Diego and home of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. In 2013, the Union Bank Escondido branch was awarded the "Historical Building Preservation" award by the city.
