East County Residents Win Trip to Hawaii to Watch Football’s Greatest All-Stars Play
SAN DIEGO - February 3, 2011 - Union Bank, N.A., is proud to announce that Helen Brown of Alpine, Calif. is the grand prize winner of Union Bank’s "Lead the Charge" sweepstakes.
"As an official sponsor of the San Diego Chargers, we wanted to do something to give back to the strong community of Chargers fans," said Art Smith, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Union Bank. "We are thrilled to be able to present this trip to Helen Brown. There was great interest in this sweepstakes and it was exciting to see the community get so involved."
Brown received a four day/three night trip for two to Honolulu, Hawaii, including airfare, hotel accommodations, admission for two to the Official Tailgate Party for the Pro Football All-Stars game, and two tickets to the Pro Football All-Stars game.
"I am so happy and excited to have won this tremendous trip," said Helen Brown."My husband Dick and I are devoted Chargers fans. In fact, we have been season ticket holders since 1978. We are so grateful to Union Bank for supporting our hometown team."In addition to the grand prize, ten weekly winners also received an official autographed Chargers helmet. The sweepstakes started Sept.19, 2010 and ended Nov. 23, 2010. To enter, contestants completed an online entry form. Winners were selected from a random drawing. The sweepstakes was open to legal U.S. residents residing in California who were at least 18 years of age.
