UNION BANK EXPANDS IN THE BAY AREA WITH RETAIL BRANCH IN DALY CITY

Diverse Branch Team Brings Years of Banking Experience and Strong Community Focus to
Serve Daly City Customers
SAN FRANCISCO, August 1, 2011 - Union Bank, N.A. today announced the opening of a new branch in Daly City, located at 95 Southgate Avenue in the Westlake Shopping Center. The full-service banking office is overseen by Branch Manager Jose Antonio, who is responsible for cultivating an overall customer base, developing new relationships with consumers and small businesses in Daly City’s community, and leading the team of locally based bankers with strong ties to the community, and many years of service in banking and in the region.
To meet the needs of Union Bank's Priority Banking customers in Daly City, Maggie Kabajouzian serves as the branch's senior relationship manager. In her role, she focuses on managing and advising Union Bank's Priority Banking clients on complex banking and investment needs, and issues such as succession planning.

Antonio has 17 years of banking experience and most recently served as Priority Banking manager of the bank's Laurel Heights branch in San Francisco. Prior to Union Bank, Antonio was at Bank of America, where he served as a senior client manager. He is an active member of Daly City's Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center (PBRC).
Kabajouzian brings more than 20 years of industry experience to her role as Priority Bank senior relationship manager. Prior to Union Bank, Kabajouzian worked at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, where she managed and advised clients on banking and investment needs. Engaged in the community, Kabajouzian volunteers with the Armenian Community Center and St. Gregory's Church.
Marty Paragas serves as senior relationship banker. Previously, Paragas held positions at Chase and Bank of America, where he worked most recently as senior client manager and mortgage specialist. He is active in the community and volunteers with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.
Ali Barakat serves as customer service manager. Most recently, he served as customer service manager at Union Bank's Bayview branch. Involved in the community, Barakat volunteers at the YMCA of Daly City, Junior Achievement, and the American Heart Association.
