We applaud the generosity and enthusiasm of our employees and support them through our Giving Back program, which is dedicated to facilitating employee giving and volunteering.
The MUFG Union Bank, N.A., employee matching gifts program "My Giving" matches U.S.-based, eligible employee contributions dollar for dollar up to a maximum amount of $2,500 annually. In 2017, Employees donated $1,227,055, which the Bank matched a $1,128.511, bringing the grand total to $2,355,566.
As part of our mission to proactively invest in the communities in which we operate, over 2,466 employee volunteers donated 35,542 service hours in 2017.
Of the 35,542 volunteer hours, 2,579 hours, or 7%, were devoted to financial education.
