The Community Outreach Group, part of our Corporate Social Responsibilty team, partners with local community-based organizations in low- and moderate-income communities to:
  • provide free financial education programs to diverse communities of need
  • connect bank employees with community-based organizations to maximize volunteer opportunities
  • coordinate senior-level officer board service with nonprofit organizations

Union Bank understands that the foundation for successful financial independence begins with personal finance. We are dedicated to fostering economic sustainability in the communities we serve at Union Bank.

Bank On -- A Hand Up for the Underserved

We are active participants in Bank On, a national collaborative initiative that includes the Office of the Governor, local governments, federal bank agencies, community-based organizations, and financial institutions to help unbanked and underbanked consumers access financial services.

As part of Bank On, we offer low-cost products, financial education, and financial coaching to help unbanked residents become banked and join the financial mainstream.

Union Bank is a participant in Bank On California, a state-wide initiative including a number of participating cities: Additional Bank On information:
