CDF Invests With New Partner in Washington State
As part of its continued growth into the Pacific Northwest, the CDF group has provided financing for the rehabilitation of a senior housing complex with a new partner, Pacific Northern Construction Company (PNCC). The renovation at the Tri-Court Apartments in Kent, Washington, south of Seattle, will result in 378 units for low-income seniors in three buildings along with a central fountain, fitness center, community room, and other amenities. In addition, this renovation will include a green development plan with drought tolerant landscaping, low-flow water fixtures, and high efficiency heating and appliances.
"We are pleased to partner with the Pacific Northern Construction Company team on the rehabilitation of Tri-Court Apartments, which have served seniors in Kent for more than 15 years," said Bryan Friend, Vice President and Seattle-based relationship manager. "The need remains high for quality, accessible housing for low-income seniors in Kent and in the greater Seattle-area. Union Bank is committed to working with partners such as PNCC to finance affordable housing for seniors in communities throughout the Pacific Northwest."
