Union Bank Expands San Francisco Wealth Management Team

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 19, 2017) — Union Bank today announced that Harold Rhee has joined its Wealth Markets team as a Vice President and Wealth Management Consultant. Based in San Francisco, Rhee reports to Jason P. Liu, Head of Wealth Planning, and Director of Sales Development and Training. This is the fourth appointment The Private Bank has announced in the Bay Area since the fall of 2016.

In this new role, Rhee will work with an exclusive group of Private Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, and Financial Advisors to enhance customization of advisory services and financial products to affluent and ultra-high net worth clients. He is responsible for ensuring the bank's staff is centering client engagement on the fundamentals and rigor of wealth planning across all life events.

Rhee joins Union Bank from Fidelity Investments where he was a Regional Planning Consultant. He brings more than 19 years of financial services experience. Rhee began his career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley where he held various roles in Northern California including Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and Complex Business Development Manager.

Rhee received his BA from Yale University and his Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York. He is passionate about animal rescue. Rhee and his family have adopted and fostered more than 60 dogs in the last four years.

In May, Union Bank announced the appointments of Tyler Brasfield and Lawrence Parente who joined the Private Wealth Management team in San Francisco, CA as Private Wealth Advisors. Brasfield joined as a Vice President and Parente joined as a Director. They report to Lisa Roberts, Head of Private Wealth Management for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, who was appointed to her role in the fall of 2016.
