At Union Bank, we have a long history of supporting diverse communities across our footprint and are committed to the considerable work necessary to preserve jobs, grow small businesses, and build thriving communities.
We were recently honored to announce the Union Bank Community Recovery Program, a $10 million initiative aimed at addressing social and economic inequities in the communities we serve. This program is specifically focused on building economic stability, including supporting access to capital, entrepreneurship, job retention, retraining, and providing critical social safety net services.
We are currently in the process of establishing an Executive Committee that will make funding and investment decisions for the Community Recovery Program. These individuals are being selected based on their record of involvement in community development and social justice initiatives to ensure that our $10 million investment has it’s intended impact. Once our committee is established, we look forward to opening our application process that is currently targeted for later this summer.
